Arriving at Dodger Stadium. Read more about my visit
here.
Savoir Faire Eric Gagne is everywhere!
I probably saw three times more Gagne jerseys than all other players combined.
Suite entrance.
Our seats were higher up. Take the escalator!
Reserved level entrance.
This is the concourse near our seats. I bought a Dodger Dog under that blue sign.
The blue seats are on their last legs.
My first bite of Dodger Dog.
(Rule: No pictures of me unless I'm eating something.)
Oh, yes, there was a game scheduled.
The view from my seat.
Would this look better with all green seats, like other ballparks?
Maybe, but then it wouldn't quite be Dodger Stadium, would it?
Right field corner.
Standing for the Star-Spangled Banner.
Looking back from the rightfield corner.
Game on!
I have a picture of Omar Vizquel batting
at Tiger Stadium in 1996, too.
Brad Penny pitches. Later, after being called safe at first, Penny took a step towards second base and was tagged out. He got ejected, probably because he couldn't handle the embarrassment.
Beyond Dodger Stadium towards the "Think Blue" sign.
I dig the color and design of the railing. Straight outta the 60s.
Did any snotty prescriptive linguists complain that this sign should have said "Think Bluely"?
